Application Requirements
Applicants must complete the Graduate College's online application and pay all application fees prior to the April 1 deadline.
Required Materials
The following materials are required and must be submitted through the online application portal.
- Transcripts
- Certificate of Degree (if available)
- 3 letters of recommendation
- Statement of purpose
TOEFL/IELTS Scores
Applicants must submit a valid OTEFL or IELTS score that meets U of I's minimum requirements
- TOEFL minimum score: 79 ibt
- IELTS minimum score: 6.5 overall
Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
Applicant must submit a valid Quantitative GRE score of a minimum of 167 points.
