Joao Duarte (Econ PhD 2016) had his paper, "Monetary policy, housing rents, and inflation dynamics," published in the Journal of Applied Econometrics, made possible by the Paul W. Boltz Fellowship. Dr. Duarte is an Assistant Professor at Nova School of Business and Economics in Portugal and was a 2014 recipient of the Paul W. Boltz Fellowship Award. His doctoral dissertation was title "Essays in macroeconomics and housing"
