Congratulations on your admission to the MSPE Program and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign!
Here you will find information to help make your transition to the University as smooth as possible. Please feel free to contact the MSPE office with any concerns or questions.
Arrival Information - Fall 2024
- Please plan to arrive in Champaign-Urbana no later than Saturday, August 17. We highly recommend you arrive even earlier, so that you have time to recover from jet lag, set up your household, and to take care of university matters.
Arrival after August 17 is subject to approval. We are ONLY considering those who are not able to obtain a visa in time to arrive to campus on or before August 17; proof will be required. Email the MSPE office for approval.
- English Placement Test (EPT)--ONLY for those international students who are required to take the EPT (check your Notice of Admission). The EPT is administered online, and registration and/or testing is already taking place. Please register for your EPT now, as test dates quickly fill up.
We HIGHLY recommend you register for any of the May or June online testing dates; the earlier the better. Additional testing dates MAY be added later. You will not be permitted to register for your fall 2024 courses until we have received your test results.
Again, register for earliest date available, as you will not be able to advise or register for your fall 2024 classes until you've taken the EPT and we've received the results.
