Quotes from recent Econ Graduates about their companies:

"I am loving Madison. It’s surrounded by lakes and there’s always something to do downtown...Work at Epic is also going well. I wanted to let you know that Epic will be recruiting at the Employment Expo. It was at the Expo this past spring semester that I first spoke to an Epic employee and started my application process with them." -Valeria, Access Implementation, Epic, Graduated: May '15

"In preparation of KPMG’s upcoming recruiting season, I will be on campus for a few events, including the business career fair, this upcoming week. Hopefully I will see some economic majors who are interested in KPMG!" -Eric, Economic and Valuation Services, KPMG, Graduated: May '14

"I was hired into the HR Outsourcing program and found it to be a really valuable experience. Though I have since left that role and found a role in Marketing, they have positions open... The Economics major (and Econ advising team!) at Illinois was certainly a huge help in getting started with my career and I’d love to help other students." -Eileen, U.S. Marketing, Aon Risk Solutions, Graduated: May '15

"I started working here as an Integration Consultant in July and it has been a great learning experience for me. I was always looking for a job that applied both the business/problem solving skills I acquired from my econ degree along with my passion for computer science -- and I think this position is a perfect fit. It's a relatively new (established in 2004) and young company so the transition from U of I to the real world hasn't been as ruff as I expected it to be. Since the company is new, there is a lot of room to work on different projects with a variety of different departments. We have just opened up a new office in downtown Chicago and we get weekly perks as well!" -Shree, Integration Consultant, Textura, Graduated: May '15
