Abigail received her PhD in May 2025 and is now an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the College of William and Mary. An applied microeconomist specializing in development, gender, and environmental economics, Abigail's job market paper focused on the role that income and conflict shocks play in child marriage for boys and girls in India, Indonesia, and Nepal. Through her research agenda, Abigail seeks to inform and evaluate policies, test theoretical predictions related to well-being and human capital, and understand how to improve outcomes for the most vulnerable.
