The Department of Economics has partnered with the Department of French for the Illinois Program in Paris (IPP).
This program offers a customized opportunity for Economics students who have an interest in Economics, Business, and French Language and Culture, to study abroad for a semester in Paris, France.
Experiential learning is central to this program, bringing students out of the classroom to visit several places around Paris to understand the academic content first-hand and up-close.
Students must have completed at least two levels of French Language (FR 102 or two years in High School) prior to attending this program. Courses, other than the French Language course, will be in English. Your language class placement in the program will be assessed by the Department of French and/or the IPP Director.
