The courses below must be completed and displaying in your degree audit correctly prior to transferring into the BSLAS Econometrics & Quantitative Economics major. These requirements are only applicable for declaring this major; please see an Econ Advisor for questions about degree requirements.

ECON 202 (Econ Stats I)

ECON 203 (Econ Stats II)

GRADE OF C+ OR HIGHER IN EACH COURSE

  • At least one ECON course must be taken at ILLINOIS
  • AP/IB/Proficiency Credit accepted
  • Approved substitutions may be used for Econ 202
  • Transfer courses may be used

 

MATH 220/221 (Calculus)

Grade of C+ or Higher

  • AP/IB/Proficiency Credit accepted
  • Transfer courses may be used**

**No other substitutions accepted; C+ grade or higher required

 

Students must meet the above requirements in order to declare the major. No exceptions or additional substitutions will be made, and there is no petition if below the requirements.
